Beatriz Costa wins Best PhD Pitch Award at Quantum Day@PT: Academy Edition

Beatriz Costa received the Best PhD Pitch Award at Quantum Day@PT: Academy Edition, held on 14 April, World Quantum Day, at the Salão Nobre of the Academia das Ciências de Lisboa.

The award recognised her presentation “Beyond the Photon: A Comprehensive Framework for Electronic Side-Channel Security in QKD”, delivered during the student pitch session where MSc and PhD students presented their research in the style of a three-minute pitch, covering Quantum Flagship topics.

Quantum Day@PT: Academy Edition was co-organised by LaPMET, PQI, INL (International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory), and Young Minds University of Porto.
