Pedro Henrique Magalhães Silva, an MSc student at UMinho – University of Minho and INL, won the Best MSc Pitch Award at Quantum Day@PT – Academy Edition, held on 14 April, World Quantum Day, at the Salão Nobre of the Academia das Ciências de Lisboa. The Best MSc Pitch Award was sponsored by PQI – Portuguese Quantum Institute.
The award recognised his presentation “A Versatile Diamond Microscope Platform for Quantum Sensing of Novel Magnetic Structures and Devices”, delivered during the student pitch session where MSc and PhD students presented their research in the style of a three-minute pitch, covering Quantum Flagship topics.
Quantum Day@PT – Academy Edition was co-organised by LaPMET, PQI, INL, and Young Minds – University of Porto.
