Quantum@School in Portuguese, 7 April 2022

Quantum@School is a worldwide event and a World Quantum Day initiative with the goal of connecting schools around the world in understanding Quantum Science and Technology, in the days and weeks around 14 April, the World Quantum Day.

The Portuguese language joined this initiative by organizing the event Quantum@School in Portuguese which took place on 7 April 2022, online and, in person at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. This event was an initiative of the Quantum Schools Network of the PQI – Portuguese Quantum Institute.

We counted with the participation of 24 schools from 4 different countries: Portugal, Angola, Brazil, and São Tomé e Princípe. In total, +900 students watched live the broadcast of the lecture directly from their schools, as well as 50+ that participated in person.
