Global Quantum Connections Workshop

On 7 November 2023, the PQI - Portuguese Quantum Institute - together with QNDL - Quantum Delta - and Academia das Ciências de Lisboa, held the Global Quantum Connections Workshop.

Aiming at discussing the challenges of global cooperation in quantum technologies, this event gathered experts from all around the world, whose knowledge and experience allowed for the confronting of contradictory perspectives in a constructive way. 

Counting with the participation of more than 50 attendees, 20+ in person and 30+ online, this event allowed for an insightful journey to the ethical challenges surrounding the development of quantum technologies, the current efforts to guarantee equitable access to them and a preview of what a future after a technological revolution could look like.
